Trying to decide if I want to go deer hunting this year. Havent gone in many many years due to lack of interest and idiots in the woods.
Rick223 and I did some scouting today while I tried to make up my mind.

Looks like they about rubbed that tree in two
That looks like a nice woods to hunt in
Nice looking deer heads and deer country.
So, did you and Rick go out and do a little tree rubbing to get in the mood for deer hunting?
Jerry
P.S. Glad to see the Canon SD1400 IS is working good.
Just think how goood it's going to taste. :eyebrownod:
Thats actually what's inspiring me Semp. I want some venison burger in the worst way. :eyebrow:
With me its my home made jerky calling. A couple of big fat does would work real good. And I do have a new rub recipe I would like to try on the grill too. Jimmie
I'm thinkin' backstrap...cubed, marinated in honey and garlic, on the grill, basted in butter. Or a roast with a garlic herb rub. Or some summer sausage smoked with sugar maple or hickory, or sassafras. Or some ground in a dutch oven full of chili with corbread.

You are making me hungry.
