Well, I got up a little late and had to rush to get around for church.  It is Becky’s birthday so after church it was time for me to fix a nice brunch.  I did this by taking her out to eat so that she would be able to enjoy the meal.  We sat next to a window, which had a good view, but also was somewhat cold.  By the time we got back home it was too late to go out to the Fish and Game and help the Three Rivers Conservation Club with their still shoot.  Becky enjoyed the card and gift so things were starting to look better.  About that time I get a call from one of the Three Rivers members telling me that I was the second place winner in their annual drawing and since they hadn’t been able to contact the first place winner wanted to know my preference in the three prizes:  An $800 BowTech Airborn bow, a Browning Buckmark pistol, or a Remington 870 Express shotgun.  I said that my preference would be just like the order above.  He called back about 20 minutes later and said the winner wanted the pistol. 

So I am stuck with this . . . . .
It has been a rough day.

 Dang Jerry I was just sitting here feeling sorry for myself and thinking what a bad day I was having. Guess things could have been worse and won a $800.00 bow AFTER bow season.  :sad: Man that must suck.

At least I have tomorrow at work. Heck your retired and maybe forced to do whatever you want tomorrow with the new bow.

I think I will stop feeling sorry for myself and Al's legless coyote and just suck it up. :laf:

Jerry,  Good to hear you made it through the day with out any more mis "fortune" befalling you.  I hate to see my friends have to bear such disappointment.  So smile and give Becky our heartfelt "Happy Birthday"!  Congrats to you also!
