Is next weekend. We are all getting geared up and ready. I am hoping for good weather. They are calling for a big snow this week in our region. Could be a game changer.
The hunt is over. Out off 20 teams only 3 reported for check in. There was only on coyote killed and three foxes. It was a tough weekend. I shot one Friday afternoon but was unable to find it. We trailed it about 100 yds. While we were in there looking another coyote starts threat barking at us. We just copied him the best we could and kept him going for about an hour after dark. I kept thinking he was going to come running in but nope.
We called in another after dark but didnt see him until we got ready to leave. The competitions are fun but very tiring. We burned the candle at both ends. I think we made like 25 sets.
