Title: Hybrid Blank Calls
Post by: armyturner on January 09, 2011, 06:50:13 PM
I have been busy with other projects and have not had the chance to turn many calls lately, but I hope to get going on a regular basis again. I will start off with two calls made from my hybrid blanks. The first call is red mallee burl with blue and green pearl resin. The second call has red pearl stripes. The stripes go completely through the call body. Both calls are fit with Carver boards and have straight 5/8" bores. Price $45 each shipped.

I do pour a lot of my own blanks, just not these. I don't have the right molds.

Nice looking calls.  That looks like the pen blanks that "worthless wood" makes.  It does look nice and is a great way to save a nice piece of wood.
