Well CC called last night and ask me about hunting this morning, I had made plans to go with my son to the National Gun Day show in louisville and ask him if he would like to go.
He was going to hang around home and go Coyote huntin
He called about 10 am and had a female down (around 37 lbs) and some good shootin too
She came in right at daylight and fell to the Remington 222 Mag.
Way to go CC
We are going to have you get you signed up on here !!

I agree... ;yes; and that rifle is a classic: A vintage Remy 700 chambered in 222 mag. :thumb2:

CC said he had that Rifle for close to 30 years and got it used then
He's having a hard time finding ammo, I couldn't find the 1st one @ the gun show !!
I told him we would get some dies and work up a load for it but he says he don't shoot that much
Yep, the factory 222 Mag fodder is getting harder to find everyday but it's still a good cartridge. The "newer" 223 Remy cartridge pretty well knocked the 222 mag out of favor. Regardless, I am most certain if he ever wants to sell that rifle he will have little problem.
