Good coyote right there. :yoyo:
Good shooting Doug! Good looking rifle too :eyebrow:
Looks more like it ran into that rock & knocked its self out. :noway:
:laf: :laf: Congratulations Doug!! That's a "good" coyote for sure!!
Was it on the farm you just picked up permission on??
Congrats, Doug! Nice pic and nice stumbling too. :yoyo:
Thanks everybody! It was a good hunt, We made about 6 set's and she came in on the second one. I cant brag on the shot much as she came in through the thick and stopped and I wasnt sure if she was gonna bust us as she was trying to get downwind so I punched a SMK 77 grainer through the brush and got her at about 40yds and she made it another 30 before she gave up! I was proud to get her but I wish Colt had been able to get a shot as he's been having a really tough bout with anxiety for a month or so and been hanging close to Ole Dad, We've hunted hard the last few weekend's and I've really wanted to put him on a dog or two hoping that would help cheer him up a bit but it's been low and slow around here but we'll keep pushing!
Pat- I tried to get him to let me take a pic but he said it was my kill and he didnt need any charity and he'd wait for his kill
Biscuit- That was the first kill for my MK12, Hopefully it aint the last! Thanks for the compliment on it!
JaMaR- Where do you see a rock? :rolleye: Dont worry buddy thats okay next time I'll post a pick in Brail so you can feel around on it...You Jughead! Thanks for the compliment and yes it was on that farm!
Somehow I expected two shots..... :laf:

vvarmitr The SMK's do a good job for me even though their not classified as a hunting bullet, Little hole in and little hole out! Till ya hit bone then its capable of doing some damage, I just try to pin both shoulder blades on critters then ya have a tough time even finding a hole.
I like a little orange on me when I'm out and about kinda gives me a little piece of mind.

I was thinking that you'd probably be on your next set of X-sticks by the time you found 'em iffen you ever dropped those w/o the orange on 'em. :eyebrownod:
A score, decade, & 5 years ago I used to shoot the 52gr SMK in my 222Rem. for g'hog & they worked great even though Sierra said they weren't intended to be used on game.
Now a buddy in Kentucky swears by 108gr VLDs from JLK for deer in his 25WSSM. Says it drops 'em like sack-a-taters. He sent me some to try.
So anyhoo I was interested in your results w/ match bullets.
Congrats
WTG Doug! Good shooting with a nice looking AR!
