I recently received a order that I placed at THO and when I opened it up I found a couple extra pieces of Diamondwood. I really love working with this stuff and need to start getting more of it. Here is what one of the pieces turned into.
What kind is this anyway?

Glad you liked the wood. That piece is Magnum Dymondwood. It is a very nice color wood I think. You certainly did it justice. Nice work!

I have to agree that it is nice to work. I got some sticks from Al and this is the first piece that I have turned. I am planning to turn an enclosed reed to match it today, then the lanyard keeper, and I will be ready to hang them on the wall.

Did ya ever have the feeling someone was staring back at ya? That thing has an eyeball...that is really cool. Ilike the diamondwood too...you just never know what your gonna get out of it. If you don't like what ya see, turn it a bit more :eyebrow:
