I thought I was gonna have to shovel the hail yesterday. Does that count?? :laf: :laf:
Guess Ohio was the hail state yesterday. We had pea sized hail around 1:00 p.m.
Jerry

I wouldn't trade you :nono:. Last illegal immigrant I saw was some bald bird :laf:.
Thats just disgusting Fo`s :laf:
Last illegal immigrant I seen was Barry setting out front of my house in his van.
Nary a day goes by that I don't have contact with an illegal immigrant.
In fact, just this morning I saw a fundamentalist Muslim extremist fall into the Rio Grande River. He was struggling to stay afloat because of all the guns and bombs he was carrying.
Along with him was an illegal Hispanic drug cartel member who was also struggling to stay afloat because of the large backpack of drugs that was strapped to his back.
If they didn't get help, they'd surely drown.
Being a responsible Texan and abiding by the law to help those in distress, I informed the County Sheriff 's Office, Boarder Patrol INS/ICE, and Dept. of Homeland Security.
It is now 7pm, both have drowned, and none of the authorities have yet to respond.....
I'm starting to think I wasted three postage stamps.....
Holy crap...thats kind of funny and sad both at the same time. What a weird sensation that brings on. :sarcas3:
Here's a video depicting a typical day in my AO that some may find interesting....

Fos, I think this is the part where I'm supposed to chew you a new hole for jacking the thread but instead, I'll just thank you cause I'm still laughing at the wasted postage stamps :laugh2: :laugh2:. That was goood :bowingsmilie:.
Yeah Fo`s ...you naughty :nofgr: :laf:

:wo: Looks like I need to mow the yard too. :rolleye:
Yeah Chet lets get with it :laf:
Nice pic what kind of tree is that
Spring time in Ten means it is just a matter of time and us Northern folks will be getting warmer also
Hey Bill,
It's a peach. Several decades ago the property where I live was one of many peach orchards in the area. The old trees are gone now but every so often a wild seedling will spring up. That one was a sprout that I transplanted.
That shot was taken two days ago. A bunch of our trees are budding, some early varieties have already flowered and put on leaves. We've been seeing some of our water birds move in, while others are leaving for the summer. Groundhogs are out and about and our wild turkeys are becoming vocal. Yesterday morning, as I was leaving for work, the truck door made a noise and one of the neighborhood Toms started gobbling. We may yet have a few cold snaps, what some folks call blackberry winter, but springtime is just around the corner. :highclap:
Thanks Chet
Yeah I got up to 22 degrees this morning with a light breeze and some frost I hope that comes to an end soon
I got sunburned a little a few days ago taking a little walk in an area I hunt sometimes. It was beautiful.
Wind is howling, snow is moving and I just got back from driving into get some carrots from Mandy for stew. Bob came with the shovel and after an hour of shoveling my buddy showed up with his tractor :bowingsmilie: :bowingsmilie:. Absolutely insane to be out there :doh2:. 16F
No school for the boys again today as the bus's are not running due to icy and snow drifted roads. :madd: The pictures of peach trees, flowers and green is much appreciated :bowingsmilie:. I can hear the train clear as a bell from ten miles away so the weather is going to change again. :doh2:.
Middle to the end of last week we had temps in the 70's and lots of sunshine. Saturday night brought 2 inches of snow and lots of wind. It is now 35*F and sunny.
While it was warm I went out for a walk in my woods and didnt see a single mayapple or jack-in-the-pulpit. I told my daughter we were gona have one more snow before ol man winter said goodnight. She looked at me like I was in the final stages of dementia and said no way spring has sprung. Sunday morning she didnt think it was funny sweeping the porch in the snow. BUT the easter lillys are a bloming and so are the little blue flowers that are growing in there with them. The tulips are a growing and getting ready to do there thing and the maples are a buding as well as the boston pear tree in my front yard.
Yepers spring is comming to South central Indiana.
Spring....... :alscalls:
Heck, SUMMER is practically knocking on the South Central Texas door!
Yeah but I figure Thats south central Texas. ............ :alscalls: :alscalls:
The gophers think it's spring :iroll:. Little varmints are up on the snow getting something to eat. Took the boys out and the wind was blowing 15mph with 24F temps. They shot maybe 35 gophers but wouldn't go through the hip deep snow to get you guys a hero pic :alscalls:.
They wouldn't? :doh2:
The hardier flowers are trying to push up, here in S.E. PA, but the cold temperatures are sure hampering the process. They're calling for a "wintery mix" tomorrow into Thursday morning. Wish I could be shooting gophers! LOL! The Honey Holes are still inactive. Though I have seen a few pasture pigs out and about across the county. I'm starting to take notice of my reloading bench in the meantime. So it won't be long before some developmental hog loads are tested.
Dave
Hey Slag! You ever eat those Jack-in-the-Pulpit, aka, Indian Turnip? Tried them once when I was a kid.
