And don't forget to put LOTS of money in the bank. :eyebrownod:
Glen,
Congratulations to both your daughter and soon-to-be son in law. The only advice that I can give (outside of what has been given about handing over the checkbook) is to find a good place to hide so that you aren't there when decisions need to be made about the wedding.
Jerry
Thanks everybody I will certainly forward all your well wishes to the soon to be newly weds.
I told Diane I don't want to know how much anything costs. Just do what you think is the right thing to do & I will be there with you on your decisions. Then she went & bought her dress. :doh2:
Oh well. Such is life. :laf: :laf:
Barry-- About as patient as I could be. :laf: :laf:
Congratulations, Thats a fine looking couple !!
I gained a Son and Law and a Daughter in Law both this past year
One in June and another in December
Congratulations Glen! :yoyo:
Yep Congrats to both them
Thanks guys. I do appreciate the well wishes & compliments & they will also. This makes both my kids married now. Being a FIL & Grandpa sure is fun.
Did he pass your tests Glen?
Contrats on the new son in law, and my condolences on giving away the daughter. :laf:
Yes he did Jim!! He even called me & asked if he could come by for a visit one afternoon just before CHRISTmas. I said sure it aint like I'm working. :laf: He stopped the nexy day & asked me if he could marry my Daughter. I told him I would accept nothing less from him than to treat my Daughter the way he wants his daughter(s) treated later on. He said that would not be a problem. I told him Congratulations & good luck. :laf: :laf: Then on CHRISTmas morning he even got down on one knee & proposed. He even went so far to hide it that he stuck DVD's & CD's together to make it look like he got her a lot of gifts. When in reality all he bought her was that ring & dinner at the finest restaurant in their area. :laf: :laf: He's a helluva crappie fisherman too. Him & his Dad win a lot of the tournaments around here every year.
Congratulations !! :highclap: :highclap:
:congrats: Congratulations, HaMer! Sept. will be here before you know it!
Sounds good. I'm happy for them. I'm gonna be swallowing hard the day I have to go through that with my daughters, I just know it.
Thanks again Scott & shad!!
It aint that hard Jim. :nono: Well not as long as you like the young man that is. :laf: :laf: Randy seems to be a rather well rounded guy. He's level headed & doesn't like to spend money. Crystal is very smart with common sense & really likes the nicer things in life. But I think he's tamed her a might. She now wears camo frequently anyhow. :laf: :laf:
Just wait you ain't made the walk yet
That's true!! :laf: :laf:
congrats, hope they hve a long happy marriage.
Thanks bambam. I'll definitely pass your well wishes along.

Congrats to you Glen - and your family. Sounds like he's a good, respectable guy from what you've been posting. Good to hear he visited with you before asking her.
