Title: House Huntin
Post by: nor-cal yote on March 27, 2011, 01:23:04 PM
   Well, tonight or early tomorrow morning I am headed to Montana for a house hunting trip.  :biggrin: I'm gonna try to stop by and see my daughter while I'm up there if time allows, I am doing everything possible to have extra time. The weather here has sucked everything is flooded, and tons of snow on the pass headed into Reno.

Good luck with your hunt.  Hopefully you find several and then have the problem of deciding which one you like the best.

     Well I put an offer on a little log cabin that I looked at while I was up there.   They turned it down today, I offered 185,000 they wanted 192,000  oh well. The packers come tomorrow to load up my stuff, and the last day of work in California is Monday April 18th. Then I head to Montana and start work on April 25th :yoyo: :yoyo:

Knowing that they put the asking price high to allow for some jewing I'm surprised they turned it down, especially in this economy.
Where will you stay if you head out without finding a place?

    Jim, there is a fund that we pay into when we are permanent for just such an occasion, it gives me 30 days in a motel. I think it is a blessing HaMeR, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if my back door opened to the Gallatin River, I would probably be late to work everyday.

Since we all want to come and stay with you for SEVERAL weeks, you might want to find a LARGE house.     ;yes;
