Did you get to see the new episode tonight? I dont wanna ruin it for you yet if you didn't.
They're starting to get a lil more creative, and coming up with some pretty unique camera angles. :eyebrownod:
Kool show Id love to do some gator trapping !
New episode? Are you watching a rerun or have they started season 2 without letting me know?
Jerry
season 2. they started last week. thurs night at 9. I like the fact they are getting some new guys on the show.
choot him jacob choot. :yoyo:
BB,
Choot, danks 4 da dinfo.
Jerry, gator trapper wanna be
I seen the one last week where Jr. had a new boat and the kid had the gator bite his finger. Plus the guy that was catching them by hand.
But ya know my favorite is Troy. :yoyo: :yoyo: Plus I like Joe too.
My DVR is set to recored the entire series.
There's a father/son Indian couple out hunting now. You'll see em.
I'm not sure what to make of them yet. The Dad is literally in love with himself. :iroll:
Yeah, I'll watch it tonight. I hope they dont ruin it with some hokey characters. :doh2:
I thought the alligator grabber was full of himself too. Talked all big, but was grabbing babies? Pull in an 8 footer or bigger and I'll give him some cred.
Those Swamp dudes ain't got nothin' on Shelby "Swamp Man" Stanga. He's on the Ax Men show. :eyebrownod:
you'll like gator grabber then this week.
its tv. ya gotta know they make some crap up. I don't know who I like outta the bunch this year but its prob joe and tommy.
Yeah, I don't care much for that Tommy at all, but Joe puts up with his crap. :rolleye:
he does mess up a bunch. but I think they work well together every now and then. he reminds me of a kid that gets so worked up and excited with doing something he forgets everything. I wonder how much of the problems between them two is actually real or put on by the producers?
Well I watched it last night at 12:30. :innocentwhistle:
Indian fellas aren't to bad, but we'll see. I really don't need to see the bar scene with the over grown men hold hands (really? I'm watching alligator trapping!) Plus "his land" because his Indian ancestors were there first? Please, I get enough of that crap up here. :iroll:
Gator grabber was much better last night, but not all that exciting I guess. That group don't look all that safe either. :shock2:
Joe and Troy again entertaining, but man that Joe has some patients for that kid of his. :whew: Its not as bad to me that he forgets a lot of shit, but the fact that he don't own up to it and his smart ass mouth always tries to point the finger else where. Reminds me of the meth-heads around here. :eyebrow:
Looking forward to seeing Bruce again this year, but I noticed his Brother-n-law and the kid aren't listed as members of the show this year? What the heck? He was good'n too.
Love dem swoomp foke!
I love Swamp People too. Troy is my favorite, but that ole boy that can do about anything makes a killer boat. :eyebrownod:
Back in '92, I went to "Search and Rescue" school at the Navy Seabees base in Gulfport, Mississippi. One of the instructors was a Chief Petty Officer and he was actually from just across the state line in Louisiana. He was pure Cajun, just like ole Troy on the program. I really liked that guy. Most of the cajuns I came into contact with down there seemed like good people. It wasn't until I met a certain cajun from another board that I found one that I couldn't stand. :eyebrownod:
You mean Mike and Junior
That guy has it going on for sure. His boats are awesome and he even raises gators.
Yeah, Bruce is there but I wonder why they arent on this year?
Bop ,i think Cajun by internet name only

HERE WE GOOOOOOO!!!...hes a wild man and I dont think its done just for the tv show...I just watched him when he took his wife out on the boat haha :yoyo:
Willy got shot tonight :doh2:
A gator pulled Bruce into the drink :doh2:
And next week ol Troy hires a broad :innocentwhistle:
Ya gotta love this stuff
I thought momma was gonna kick Juniors butt for shooting the boy. Shot that other feller in the hand and he said to heck with it, TAKE ME BACK!! :laf:
Looks like fun, but I'm too old and fat to even give it a try.
The Indian, Jr., is one bad boy. Still kicking butt like that arm wrestling at 48 years old isn't too shabby. :nono:
Yeah the thats Jay Paul. I think he did some wrestling in school. Pretty stout kid with a thick wrestling neck.
New episode in 8 minutes. :eyebrownod:
I'll have it recorded, I have some where else to be. :iroll:
Ok I'll tell ya what happens.
choot em! choot em! :alscalls:
Boy Howdy them guns they use look like they put in some hard duty :yoyo:
Oh man I was gonna say that last time and forgot. Those guns look like they dug em up out of the swamp. Engulfed in rust, all beat up.
They throw em around the boat like a 12 year with a $20 dollar bill out of a Christmas card. It's crazy :nono:
Is it me, or does anyone notice anything different about this season from last season?
Sure seems like they are staging a lot more things and cutting back on filming them getting gators in the boat? Might be me, but its not the same as last years episodes?
In short, its causing me to lose interest in a show I extremely like. :eyebrow:
They might be "staging" but if they are I sure wouldn't want to be one of the "stars". Getting shot, falling in the water with a live alligator, etc. is not something I would want to do.
Jerry
The shooting might not be staged but that falling in the water was one of the things I was referring too. You see Bruce go over and the next thing ya see is him sitting on its back holding its mouth shut and shooting it in the top of the head. Wheres the exciting video in between that would show the real deal? Seems they are staging more drama with guys sticking thier arms in the water with the next shot of the gator splashing out of the water.
Its kinda like their extra attempt at ratings is taking away what drew me into the series in the first place. KInda going the way of "Repoman" :innocentwhistle:
Todd, you have a point, but that happens with all these kinds of shows. I liked "Shark Men" last year, but this year seems to be more about the crew and "staged" drama than actual drama like having a 2000 lb. fish on your line and then getting in the water with it. :doh2:
choot em! choot em! Elizabeth choot em! :alscalls: :alscalls:
I like the guy that shoots and hits everyone but the gator :alscalls: :alscalls:
300 some tags the one guy got and he is crying broke! look up a gator outfitter in LA some are 3, 4 thousand dollars . maybe he should take 3 or 4 hunters out wit him over the season to do the chooting
I say give Shelby some from axe man gator tags that be a show :eyebrow:

He is a goofball. I am just waiting for him to hit one of the divers with a propeller or jump in the water and have a 5' long stick run up his rear or something stupid along those lines. It's a wonder that boy has lived as long as he has. :eyebrownod:
I noticed the absence of time in that scene of Bruce falling in the drink too, but I juts figured the camera man got stuck helping him out.
But other then that I think they are throwing in some cool camera angles. I mentioned that in my opening post.
Like the camera in the water as to what the gator would see looking at the barrel, or up the rope as they pull it in. Yeah some of it's staged but thats TV.
George,
If Liz finds out you called her Elizabeth you gonna be in trouble.
Tyler is on LUCKY dog.
I have had gator twice in New Orleans and watching them bread and deep fry it sure did make me hungry for some.
Jerry
i still have about 20lb left from last season, mmmmmmmmmmmgood
Did anyone catch that rj and his son use a .17hmr to kill gators. I guess if it can kill a gatore it can kill anything. :readthis:
That was last weeks episode wasnt it, they was talking about that being his favorite gun?
IDK. might have been.

They use .22lr's so a .17hmr should work too. Bruce supposedly killed one with a North American Arms mini revolver.
yeah I noticed that most use a semi.22lr or a .22 mag pistol.
I have them all DVR and need to catch up with them. Not even sure where I left off actually?
Elizabeth likes her 22WMR. :eyebrow:
Slackers need 5mm huh?
:alscalls: @ ^^^^!!
