And it looks like she's doing it without a conscience. :sad3:

That sucks
Didn't you have something similar to that last year too?
Are you gonna be fishing off your porch or isn't it that close to you yet
I sure hope everyone comes through it ok
Dang Jimbo!! I sure hope everyone fairs okay. I am wondering the same as Bill, if it wasn't for the time stamp I would have thought one of those pictures was from last year. The Ole' Mississippi is trying to clean y'all out, literally.
Yeah, it seems to do this every year. Some years are worse then others.
It'll never get to me, I'm a couple miles from the river.
If it ever did, it would mean global catastrophe anyway.
I'm normally down fishing in it, but the water just wont warm up.
It's funny you mention last years pics. I stumbled on them and was thumbing through them in photobucket when I uploaded these :laf:
There's even some from 2008, like these...

It blows my mind that the core of engineers running these locks can blatantly put these towns and families through this year after year. A lot of these homes are not even in flood plains, thats how out of control it gets every year.
Just remember to STAY DRY!
Jerry
I have stood on the Boss mans porch, and I can assure everyone, that if it gets to the point where he can stand there and fish, the whole area down stream will look like the middle of the Atlantic ocean. All the way to the gulf.
Boyyy that would be some sweet fishing wouldnt it though? :eyebrow:
A samich in one hand and the pole in the other. :yoyo:
then turn around and pitch the fish he just caught in the basement that is now a in house livewell. floods suck.
