We have had a few things going on here on the home front so I have not been able to respond to a few posts, will get to it now. In the mean time, I was down in the Alaska Range this morning and this guy caught my eye. His coat is still in real nice shape, he was in a National Park, so even if I were hunting he was off limits.

Nice pictures, John. We were lucky enough to see several grizzlies in Denali last year. They are awesome to look at........... from a safe distance.

How big do you suppose that critter is?? He looks like a younger bear to me. Someone with NO experience seeing them that is. His back is very flat with not much belly. :shrug:
