Title: Jefferson Barracks
Post by: coyote101 on July 20, 2011, 09:28:12 PM
I was in St. Louis visiting family over the weekend.

On my way out of town this morning I stopped by Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Over 160,000 graves there, dating back to before the Civil War.

It is a very solemn yet inspiring place.

In the center of this picture, in the third row back .......

Looks a lot like Arlington.  Arlington and the Viet Nam Wall are two places that just have an eerie feeling when you are there.

That's a great picture, Pat, along with your original post - didn't see this 3-1/2 yrs ago.
Be sure to tell him plenty of stories of his great grandfather.
