I picked up a new to me ride Tuesday morning, it has 448,000 miles on it but he thinks he might keep it around for a while yet.

Must be a fairly common problem if the manufacturer feels it needs to be addressed.

I like it! I like it! :yoyo:
I love that freekin grill guard even more :eyebrownod:
I'm either rookie of the year, or I'm missing something, cause every cab I've seen over the last 5 or so years has had the same knobs in it.
That cow catcher has repositioned a few deer already. You don't remember this thread?

Thank You. I haven't tried the cow catcher out myself but I have seen a few of the trucks with a LOT of fresh blood down the sides. No sign of it on the bumper except the aluminum is a little more polished in one spot. Here is a link to them. They are expensive but they are cheaper than a new front end and we get a discount on the insurance because of them.

I will be in Yuma, AZ. occasionally, but that is as far as east as they go on the south end. Maybe the stars will align and we will cross paths one day?
Nice lookin rig Art.
Let me know if ya get through Iowa too.
I almost got to try out the cow catcher. Saturday, I was heading through Rawlins WY. They don't allow an engine brake (Jake brake) in Rawlins and I was on a 6% down grade, working the brakes more than I care to, but..... A police car was coming up the hill in the far lane and had his lights and siren going. Just as I got to the intersection he swerved across 2 lanes and the turn lane to cut in front of me. I didn't have much stop left so there wasn't much I could have done but I did swerve enough to miss him by about 2 ft. 80,000 lb truck with a cow catcher vs a 3,000 lb ford? cop car. I wonder what his car would have looked like afterwards?
I woulda down shifted, mashed the pedal to the floor, and told the other story. :innocentwhistle: :yoyo:
Good lookin rig Art, way nicer than my old wreck lol
