I think the durango got jealous on the way home Chris said she heard something pop and the front end started shaking I checked it out and couldn't see anything wrong so we nursed it into the shop at work so I can take a look at it tomorrow and get it back to health
Bill,
Nice truck, but do you need a step stool to get in it? It looks a little jacked.
Don't forget the plates.
Jerry
Thanks Jerry
I swiped a dealer tag from work to bring the truck Home I will get plates on it tomorrow
The truck has a 3 inch lift kit on it I have no trouble getting into but Chris needs a boost though :eyebrow:
Chris needs a boost :alscalls: You go boyee :yoyo:
Why did they paint it all up, is it full of bondo or what?
None the less, it looks to be in really good shape.
I could help you re-coop some of your cost, by you selling me your drivers side headlight and blinker housing. :eyebrow: I think I can get that blue paint off the chrome trim.
They changed the cab on it and the boy that done the painting was in auto body training school and I think he was color blind also he put a camo seat cover on it and put camo on the header liner and the inside interior is dark blue :nono: Yes there is some bondo in this truck but not much.
I am not sure why he painted all the chrome on the truck must have run out of masking tape :laf:
I think I will hang on to the head light and blinker housing However I did sell the tool box off the truck already and since I am gonna repaint the truck I am gonna try and remove the paint on the chrome
This truck has headers on it but they run both exhaust to the passenger side then put mufflers on that tone them way down i am gonna have to change that
If the painter was in training, that explains it.
Masking all that stuff off takes too much time and he was in a hurry. :laf:
You want to keep the headlight housing? What is the matter with you? Is that your final answer?
Headers uh? :eyebrow: Is there 5 liter 302 under there?
:wo: Whats the matter with me :wo: Well Um .... You don't have the time or the certificates :laf:
It is powered by a 351 modified :yoyo: and I am keeping the headlight housing thats my final answer
Fine

Jerry
Step stool my fat butt. I would need an extension ladder to get in it and even that would be iffy at best. :eyebrownod:
Nice looking truck Bill.

Hate to have to feed it, with that 351m. Thirsty girl there.
Nice truck Bill, but I'd need a step on the side to get in it too. My son bought a tundra last year and wanted me to take it for a ride. I thought I was gonna pull the steering wheel off it trying to pull myself up in that thing.
John
Well Bill my guess is that the boy painting it was in the first steps of urban camoflage and just never finished it
I think that is a good pattern for the Ohio woods :alscalls: :alscalls:

Thanks for the paint cards Jim the ol truck looks good in John Deere Green or even Ford Blue but I have already picked out the color for it and started stripping the paint off the mirrors bumper and grill still trying to figure out why someone would paint over
chrome with the same color paint as the rest of the truck :nono:

I agree, Bill, but that Mary Kay pink sure is an eye grabber.

I remember my Dad saying that when he was younger they all stripped the chrome off their cars to be cool. He said what they couldnt strip off they painted to match the car.
But then again all the pics I seen of him at my age he had a white sleeveless T shirt on or a black leather jacket with his hair greased back. :doh2:
