Title: "Winter Howler" Coyote Mount
Post by: possumal on August 01, 2011, 07:59:57 PM
Just got a nice male coyote mount back from my taxidermist today.  I call him "Winter Howler" as that what he was doing when I shot him.   I thought the taxidermist did a pretty nice job of making him look like I described it. Just wanted to share it with you guys and see what you think.

Looks good from here.
His face looks a bit relaxed but I love the mount.

Luther Livingood ("Livingood Taxidermy"), living outside Carlisle, Ky. about 7 or 8 miles.  This is the first thing he has done for me, but he has mounted deer, turkey, and waterfowl of all kinds for my grandsons.  He is very reasonable and one of the nicest guys you could ever ask to meet.  Second road on the left after going through Carlisle and crossing the railroad tracks. He has about a one year turnaround on anything you take him.  I have seen a couple of bobcats mounts he did that were also very good.
