Ingredients:
- 2 pounds stew beef (cut in 1-inch cubes)
- 1/2 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- One 4 ounce can whole mushrooms; drained (optional)
- 1/2 cup red wine (merlot is best)
- 2 cloves garlic; minced
- fresh cracked black pepper (to taste)
- Tony’s Creole seasoning (to taste) or Ragin Blaze seasoning (to taste)
Mix ingredients well. Bake at 300 degree (F) in a covered casserole dish for 2.5 to 3 hours. No need to look until cooking time is up. Serve over noodles or rice.
