Ive been wanting to post a few calls i made one is a marbelized green and black cow horn howler and the other a antler howler i hope you like them they are some of the first that ive ever made the cow horn is the first.
Well they look darn nice riverboss!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
You need to work on your picture taking bud. The horn looks interesting with the antler, but I really can't see it well enough.
MY browser is giving me a pain tonight so I'm only seeing the thumbnail. I'd like to see a bigger/closer picture of the cow horn too. Looks nice though.
John
Now those are different. Nice work.
Is that antler aged and thats why it's so white?
Yes the antler is aged i cleared it to try and bring it back and it made it whiter.
I will take a better pic of the horn tonight and post it along with a red one i have done also. Thanks
Sorry i tried all night and couldnt get them to go threw.
Have you called any critters with them?
Still an interesting design... nice job!
Not with these but i have several rabbit talkers that ive used. If you come to the LBL this year you will be able to see them as the cow horns will be door prizes.
Oh, I'm thinking about going again. :innocentwhistle:
Thinkin heck im half packed , i cant wait! im sure you will be there Semp i hope you spent the summer getting the misses out of that gun you were all over them last year if i recall.
What kind of snag were ya hitting with the pics?
Couldnt get them to go through... meaning what?
Ive never had much luck with my dialup conection when i tried the other day it worked perfect but now it just sets there it takes a while for all of the green bars on the bottom to load and then it just sets there all green, and says it failed after about a hour. It says the file may be to large but i dont see how i even tried to send the same pic threw.
Ahh, so it's most likely your internet connection
Ya im sure thats it i dont have many options Huges net or wild blue is all ive found and they arent much better from what ive heard. If you can think of any others i would appreciate the info.
I think i got this fixed thanks Jim.
Whoa they are nice. Are they real cow horns or something you made to look like a cow horn. Pretty slick whatever way you did it. :congrats:
John
:congrats: Much better on the pics! The calls look good too! You painting the horn?
Yes they are real cow horns the tips are the original but the lower is painted and then cleared with automotive urethane and buffed i use this method on motor cycles and thought i would try some howlers to see how they looked thanks for your responses.
You did a great job on them.
John
