I have a Browning 243 WSSM with the wood stock and I want to protect it. TIA
What kind of protective camo are you looking for Chris?
I am looking for something to cover the wood. I use to have one for my 30.06 but I don't remember where I got it from. The one I had the whole gun would just slide into it barrel first and it had a zipper that zipped up the stock. I think the they are called gun chaps.
I have used this and it is holding up pretty good - especially on the one gun that has not come out of the gun safe since I put it on.

How does it work? I mean will it damage the wood on my gun if I decide to take it off later?

No, the wood will be fine. It only sticks to its self. When you take it off it wont leave any sticky stuff of anything on the gun. It also helps get a good grip on the gun as well. This is pretty good stuff!
