Title: Grandson Josh is at it again!
Post by: possumal on September 28, 2011, 08:01:58 PM
My grandson Josh is off to another good start this season. He's been out twice and killed 3 coyotes.  He got a nice female on one stand and a big old male on his last stand just before dark. Two stands, called in 3, got 2.  He is really making that CS-24 and his Browning 204 sing pretty music.  The big old male is the biggest he has ever killed, but he didn't have any scales to weigh him.  He had a lot of white on his chest and face, and Josh couldn't shoot when he first saw him because of cattle in the field with him.  When he was just about out of the field, he stopped for one last look back, and that was his last mistake. Josh put one of the 39 grain Blitz Kings right in his boiler room at 285 yds.  He gave a deep howl like a bear dying, but died right there where he hit him.
