Title: Who's from Texas????
Post by: centerfire_223 on November 14, 2011, 03:04:17 PM
I may be headed out that way to do some coyote hunting next week. I was trying to figure out what kind of license I will need and what it will cost me. Can anyone help me out?

I have tried to find it on the DNR site but its way easier to ask here.

Get in touch with Randy Watson, Ronnie. He'll know anything you want to know and he is such a good shit, it's tough to find people like him anymore.
I hunted with him and Buker down there a few years ago and as long as you have a Hunters safety certificate, you can get your out of state at the local Walmart for...I think it was 20 buck back then.

Texas is a blast if you stay away from the queers and the steers in Dallas and the other majors.
I had the time of my life hunting with Buker and Watson down there.

I don't have a hunters safety course. You can't be grandfathered in?

Every hunter (including out-of-state hunters) born on or after Sept. 2, 1971, must successfully complete a Hunter Education
Training Course. Proof of certification or deferral is required to be on your person while hunting.

Click the link I provided. It contains all the rules and regulations.
