The twin to my truck took on an elk at 70 mph a while back. All in all it didn't come out to bad considering the elk came right to the windshield.

The truck got a new hood, windshield wiper, headlight and cow catcher. The radiator and air conditioner core were fine. The driver drove it back to the shop. The elk got hauled away.
While I was talking with my boss he was telling me that the pickup cow catchers from Ali Arc are not as good as the ones made for trucks. He has taken them off his personal pickups and replaced them with steel.

Dang it man. Glad no one got hurt. Well other than the elk.
