Here is a little something I have been working on for the competition. It is looking really good. I need more work to the head and ears. I feel like it needs more lift on the head. Your thoughts?

He looks like he's in serious trouble :laf:
Rigor mortis has set in or he has a popcorn hull stuck on the rook of his mouth something :laf:

It'll work though, all they need to see is the outline. There's even PICTURE decoys available.

This is a tanned hide that I traded some shooting sticks for. I took an old yote skull and filled in his face. I used a pool float and deflated it and stuck it inside the cavity and blew it up. It is super light weight,

Good idea!  It looks real in the 40 yard pic.  Dont need em much closer than that.

I worked a little more on the head and neck today. Added a different skull to give better shape to the head and face area. I am very pleased with the turnout. Now, Its time to give him a name and put it to work.

It's got to have a popcorn hull stuck in it's throat or something, something's not right

But seriously...have you ever considered taking up taxidermy? :eyebrow:

Yes, I have a few different scents, coyote urine, dazed dog, and something else out there I can't remember whatis called. i figure I will need to make it smell especially since I've been handling it.
