Again the first stand of the day i was over looking a huge, thick autum olive thicket my buddy Mike was to my right on a hump watching an old grown up strip field. The only shooting lane i had was an old 4 wheeler road that went through the middle of the thicket i could see out it about 100 yards before it made a bend.About 4 min. in the stand i had just started my 2 series of woodpecker distess and saw him pop around the bend,he came about 25 yards on up the road and then bowed up so i took the shot about 75 yards,.223 hornady BANG FLOP!
