My calling partner for the past several years was home on leave from Iraq. Second day home he called and said let's go kill a coyote, couldn't say no so we went out for a couple of stands. This guy went right past me, walking slowly into the call. I felt guilty shooting him as I knew my partner would see him soon enough and would take the shot. I watched him for a minute or two and then decided my buddy must not see him so I'll kill him. About the time I was raising my rifle I heard a shot and Mr "C" fell over dead. He tipped the scales at 36 pounds which is HUGH for a AZ coyote.
