Enough is enough! These guys have been stealing our tomatoes and cucumbers. Then I saw one in the flower patch, put the sneak on him and BANG the new Gamo got its’ first kill. Went back in looked out the window and another in the flower bed. Was going to put on another stalk but decided I would try my long range skills, about thirty yards. BANG, Gamo accounts for kill number two, two shots two dead ground squirrels.

Mighty fine shooting, John P. They appear to be about the size of our grey squirrels.

The one I'm shooting is the Hunter Sport. Fluted polmer jacked steel barrel, 1100fps, .177, love it. The two squirrel that I killed died on the spot, no running at all. And yes they are light colored, summer coat.
Al I think your grey tree suirrels may be a bit larger then these. Next time I kill one I'll measure it and let ya know.
HaMeR, I called PETA and told them that there is a guy out here killing all these cute little creatures and then he is feeding them to the turkey vultures. I'm sure I'll have a filming crew out here in the next few days.
:laf: :laf: I should send them a video sometime!!

I thought about doing just that - then it dawned on me. I'd have to change it several times a day. three shots, three kills, four shots, four kill and on and on. It would never stop :innocentwhistle:

That is a terrible problem to have.
Maybe consider:
Squirrels: Dead on Sight
Squirrels: See One, Remove One
:alscalls: what the :doh2:
I have that same Gamo Hunter. It will put a cottontail down with authority at 40 + yards. I did have to try a few different brand and style of pellets before I found some that it liked, but it was worth it.
