On Thursday of last week I bought a 2012 Bushnell Trophy cam HD for $250 bucks and I put my $40 8 GB SD card in it. I was super exited to use it so I brought it out to a "private" property two miles from my house. I dumped 15lbs of corn mounted it on a trail camera tree screw mount and left. I came back to it yesterday to find it totally gone my first thought was something hit it of the tree and it will be within a few feet but after looking at the mount I knew it was stolen. :argh: Some people are such jerks. Whoever it was has a picture of me and my first name to haunt their conceince (if they have one) for the rest of their life. :madd: :madd: :madd:
Any ideas on how to get it back?
Well that really does suck, sure wish I could tell you how to catch the a$$hole . cc
yeah, that really does stink that there's so many of those kind of people out there. Ya hear it happening all the time :argh: :rolleye: You can lock em up, which I recommend doing, but that will just keep the honest people honest. If somebody wants it bad enough, they'll get it. I've heard of people having very good lock systems on theres, and they come back and the tree is sawed down! Sorry to hear it !
Who owns the property? I would hit those people up and ask them who all is allowed out there, let them know what happen, and maybe they or someone they know seen a vehicle or something that might get you started.
Hopefully you find him, and if not, it would be funny if the same things happens to the culprit if he uses it. Carma is a bitch ya know. :eyebrow:
You got serial numbers and stuff off of it? Keep an eye on Craigs list and Ebay too.
I hate a thief. :argh:
Pat
Good news I contacted Bushnell and they said they would give me a 40% off retail value for any 2012 trail cam.
That is good news.
Do you have the serial numbers off your Trophy Cam or no?
I abhor thieves.
