Title: July 31st groundhog
Post by: HaMeR on August 01, 2012, 03:00:54 PM
Decided after a phone call yesterday we were going out looking for a couple groundhogs after supper. The Terminatress seen this one as we drove by the field. We went to the next field for a quick looksee & a safe turn around & went back. Pulled into the field behind some roundbales & unloaded everything. Got Diane setup on a shorter bale,,  :laf:  ,, so she could use it as a rest   :alscalls: ,,  & I got the camera ready. No tripod this time so I held the camera tight to the bale. Twas a big hog too. I would guess it to have weighed in around the 11lb mark.

You're right Jim!! Just got his ticket punched!! That little 221FB sure amazes me sometimes at the amount of energy it packs in those little 50gr BK's.  :eyebrownod: :eyebrownod:

FOs-- Diane made sure he got a nice long peaceful nap too!!  :laf:

Thanks Jerry!! For Diane that is merely a chipshot. For me that video was a testament to her teaching me how to run the camera.  :laf: :laf:
