Those pics were taken from a wide shoulder on the coast highway, heading south at mid-morning.  At first the lighthouse was sticking out above the fog, which was blowing in off the ocean from right to left.  By the time I found a place to pull over and get the camera, the fog was starting to cover the lighthouse.  Within another minute or so it was completely out of sight in a fog bank.

Neat capture.  Becky and I were out that way last summer and really enjoyed the veiws.
