He looks like he had a rough trip.
What kinda, I say what kinda bird is that?
I was going to ask that same question Jim, but I thought what stupid person wouldn't know what that is.
Besides me and you.
:alscalls: :alscalls: I know hey?
It do look like a white pigeon to me...has the little bump things on the beak...a young one too hence the kinda messy feathers and the bald patches around the eyes...I'm just guessing, it could be a rare Mongolian ptarmigan plover too... :innocentwhistle:
To me it appears to be a young Hawk. You can just see the little hook on it's beak. It's tail feathers are straight across the ends too.
Its obviously a Tasmanian Chicken. Seen 'em many times back in my drinking days.
He certainly likes to sit there like a pigeon. :wo:
What did it taste like, HaMer?
My vote is albino pigeon.
I haven't seen a pigeon that big around here yet. :laf:
Dave-- I let it live. Maybe some day we will be overrun with them & there will be a season on em here. :nono: :nono:
That feather duster looks a lot like the homing pigeons I raised as a kid in 4-H. It's hard to tell from the photo angle but looks like it's wearing a metal bird band around it's left leg?
No band that I could see Chet. I even blew the pics up by using Control/+ on my keyboard when I was looking at it originally.
Its a Albino Buzzard. :laf: :laf: cc
:laf: @ Carl!!
I'm pretty sure it's one a them Yankee Crow's  Nope, wrong color :innocentwhistle:
