If I am reading my regs correctly, the only thing you can hunt right now is coyote, hogs, and groundhogs.
Jerry
Found a sweet spot for coyotes today.Since New Dog didn't tell ya that he was hunting with me Then I won't tell him we are going to this new spot.
Bill
We got your back Bill.....We wont say a word :innocentwhistle:
Well.........
I figured I owed you all an update. I left Tennessee at 5 am on Saturday morning. Blew a tire somewhere before I reached Louisville. Managed to get a new one, and get back on the road. I then stopped in Columbus, for the Ohio Deer and Turkey expo, said hello to Brent and finally bought his video. Then this morning, made it out and met Bill for breakfast. We then proceeded to his super secret spot for our first stand. We thought we might have heard a few yips, but weren't sure. The second stand was a bit more productive. We had someting show themself from the brush, but as soon as Bil looked that way, he said it disappeared. The third stand was not necessarily productive, but we did see 5 deer there. On the next stand, Bill convinced me to use some howling (keep in mind I am not a good howler). The only thing interested there was a crow. However, Bill said that the first time I howled, some squirrels ran up a tree for their lives. So that gave me a little bit more confidence in my "non" howling skills. On the last stand, I started with some howls. As we were waiting there, I heard something in the bushes to my left. So I got my coaxer and started to squeak a bit, but nothing showed. I then looked a bit to my right, and a groundhog decided that today was a good day to die. So I put a 40 gr 22-250 VMAX into it, and relieved it of it's head. No coyotes, but all in all, it was a beautiful day to be in the woods, and a really great time.
Bill,
We definitely need to do that again!

Sounds like a good time. Except for the tire.

Bill
