Delayed
Aborted. Not going to do it today.
I've made one static line jump in my life and I remember standing at the open door thinking "Why am I jumping out of a perfectly good airplane?" :laf:
Never made another jump. :nono:
I have gone up in a hot air balloon and that was sort of cool. Low height but you still wonder where you are going to land. But, there is no way that I would want to jump out of anything unless it was going down.
Jerry
Yeah you have to wonder what goes through a persons mind that has trained and trained for things like this...as he stands on the edge of..the edge of...well on the edge of NOTHING...there's no other way to put it. :laf:
Calling for Sunday now
Supposed to go at 8AM EST this morning. (Sunday) Live link still works too.
Lotta people standing around there yapping right now.
Capsule hanging from a crane and some guy up on a forklift working around in the opening of of the capsule from the forklift. I dont know if he's loading sandwiches or what but he's been there forever it seems.
He's off. There is quite a good delay between this live feed and the live feed from Discovery Channel.
Kinda cool to watch it on both.
I wonder where the balloon and capsule go after he jumps. :wo: Do they blow it up?
Couple tense moments for me watching.
That was pretty incredible, wow.
The capsule is coming down behind him.
Thats up there with one of the most incredible things I've ever watched. :congrats:
