She is one of the prettiest ones I have ever seen. I have watched her grow up and I actually seen her just shortly after she was born. She was almost solid white when she was born. She is 2.5 yrs old now and actually had twins this year but they are both solid brown. I have had numerous oppurtunities to take her with a bow but just never could bring myself to do it. I was at full draw on her last year when all of a sudden the question 'Why" popped into my head. I couldnt answer the question so let her go. Guess Im getting soft in my old age Lol. I had always wanted to take a piebald with my bow. Im hoping maybe next year she will give birth to a little piebald buck and in 3-4 years after that I wont be so soft :eyebrow:
*By the way if ya cant see her, look right above the fence post in the wood line. She blends in great in the snow

She sure blends in well.
Looks like she has excellent snow camo.

Geeez..I was thinking this is a set up and there's nothing there to be seen. :doh2:
Its like one of those hidden pictures...I should have just put the picture up and said "find the Deer' just to see how many people would actually see her. I sent pic to a couple buddies and they just think Im lieing to them :laf:
Yeah like I did. :eyebrownod:
Jim,
She is hiding behind the stump on the right. If you look real close you can see her nose sticking out on the right hand side of the stump.
Jerry
I'm better at spotting things in a grocery store. ;yes;
Jerry...your the stump :laf:
Jim,
Don't tell. I am waiting for my chance to put a little meat in the freezer.

Jerry, what's the breakdown on Piebald as it pertains to deer when compared to Piebald when speaking of crows? Bob Aronsohn has several Piebald crows mounted in his crow hunting museum at Hutchison, Kansas. They appear to be a mixture of beige and lighter, almost white feathers. Very unusual, very beautiful. Thanks for sharing your great photos of a rewarding time afield.
That's very cool...I love piebald deer, especially when they look look like a chocolate chip cookie. Nothing wrong with showing some restraint in harvesting her. You will get to enjoy her much longer in the woods, hopefully nobody else snatches her up. Cool picture, thanks for sharing.
