Title: Little bit of eye candy...
Post by: Coulter on December 22, 2012, 07:55:10 AM
Some duck calls made for customers in LA, PA and KY...Including a call for Riverboss

This one is Riverboss'...well one that he had made for his friend anyway. This was a really cool piece of bocote, it looks like somebody splashed specks of paint on one side of it. Here's another shot of it...

You've gotta love that olivewood...These are going to PA and LA, The blackwood is also going to LA

The Olivewood would be my pick, but with Blackwood it is hard to get a picture that really shows it off.  Nice work.

Dan..I know a guy that makes goose calls :eyebrow: I have some bands for them, but they don't say "Gil" on them. I can get one that does, but you'll have to let me know if you want me to bring that down to LBL, I;ll need to get that band made.

Glen, I know a place too...I just don't want to wait another year and a half to cut into it again.

Dan, that is correct...the site is there, but there isn't anything on it. I am working on gathering pictures of various calls that I make and hope to have the site up and running again in the next week or two. Until then, he is more than welcome to call me or shoot me over an e-mail.

Glen, I sure wish they would toss some of that olivewood in the kiln to dry. It may not be good for that type of wood though, I don't know. I'll surely be looking to see what they have on hand when we go up.

It would be nice. I guess as long as it's done properly it should be OK. Then again I just make pens.  :laf: :laf:
