54lbs of venison burger!!!!!!!!!!
Just got done cleaning the Winchester after shooting this nice doe at about 35yds Sunday before last{1-6}. That was when I realized I didn't post about it. :laf:
35yds +/- with a 240gr CheapShot & 90grs of loose Triple7. Things just don't get too far after a hit from one of those. She made it maybe 30yds & could barely use her front legs. Tore up her left lung & bottom part of her right lung. Busted up her left shoulder & hurt her right shoulder bad enough she had to hop on her hind legs more than anything. I've shot 6 deer over the last couple years with these bullets & only 1 went more than 40yds.

Awesome Job!! :yoyo:
Good shooting resulting in some good eats!
Some of the best venison I've had in recent years was an ancient old dry doe, quite fat and had an amzing amount of meat on the ribs even. Tender and tasty.
NICE!
:yoyo: :yoyo: I love venison burger!!
Just like candy in spaghetti, chilli, etc.
Party time at HaMeR's place! Nice shot.

Way to go Glen!! That's good eatin' there. :yoyo:
And y'all are Welcome at my house!! I'll cook the burgers & try to keep the stories to a minimum!!!!!!!  Gonna be a crockpot of sloppy joes with hotdogs in em on our table at the LBL in 2 weeks!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
The best part is she was laying there as I came around the corner on the trail. 4 deer stood up & she was the biggest. I found a tree to brace on & punched her ticket. I don't like to shoot running deer or deer that has been running hard. I don't like the taste of those.
Glen,
What time at your house? This evening or tomorrow?? WTG! Good shooting!
Jim
