Thats good news. Good news indeed. Now we just got to figure out how to feed them since government contracts successfully kept ammo out of the consumers hands.
i read there was going to be a vote on high cap mags though ...
Now all those $1500 AR's that were sold are worth $800 again. :innocentwhistle:
The war is not over by a long shot. This was just one small battle. Glad we won this one though. Would love to laugh in Fiensteins face and not be respectable about it at all.

From what little I have read, this is just the Assault Weapon part. Sen. Reid still has plans for reorganizing the legislation dealing with firearms in the next few months and felt that if this was attached that the entire bill would be voted down.

As said this is just one small battle won, the anti-gun war is far from being over.
Every gun owner across the country needs to let their politicians know we are mad as hell and won't take it any longer. :argh:

;yes; :jump:
Not to mention John "ketchup"kerry has pledged his support to the UN gun treaty already, maybe our fight was to draw attention from the un gun deal which is also a threat to our 2nd ammendment
No victory to celebrate ,Bloomburg to spend 12 mil on anti propaganda.
I read that Harry Reid is going to try and "backdoor" the Feinstein amendment. So as others have said, the issue is far from dead.
Our politicians are trying to turn the Bill of Rights in to a list of permissions granted by the government. And they may yet succeed.......if we let them.
Now is the time to bear down. Call, write, e-mail your Congressmen and insist they hold the line on further restrictions to our firearms rights.
