Did you know that the United States purchased the 586 square miles of land known today as the great state of Alaska, from Russia in 1867?
Purchased it for 7 millions dollars.
How much would that be per acre? about 2 cents?
The way this current administration is headed the whole dang country is only going to be worth about 2 cents?

Steve, yep! And I thought that was SOO interesting I had to share it.
My friend took me to Wild West Guns in Anchorage when I was in Alaska last September. Ken showed me one of those Alaskan Co-Pilot take down 45-70 Marlin's. That is a very cool rifle, but man are they pricey. I didn't know there was going to be a TV show when I was there or I might have thougt to get some pictures or an autograph.
