When I retired, the second time,  I made the comment to my wife that I would never again own a military gun.  The day after you know who got elected I went out and bought an AR. 

I did buy a Garand but prior to retirement.  I put it in the back yard and every morning when I wake up I run out and piss on it.  I enjoyed seeing it rust.  I hated that rifle.
