So was cropping that image. :laf:
Cool photo! How did you do that?
PhotoShop, Clyde.
Spot heal the date to remove it around the edges so ya get a clean outline.
Then highlight (outline) everything you want to keep.

The you can either copy the highlighted area to a new canvas with a transparent background, or invert the selection which highlights everything EXCEPT what is currently is highlighted. And from there you can either erase the background or to transparent or wipoe it out with a new color/s.

Mr. Clyde, the Photoshop Guy!

Jim, Thank you for the how-to! With my thyroid condition, most days my tremor too much to draw a clean line around something. But I gotta try it --- and maybe get Code to do it for me if I really want something lifted out of a photo. That's what grandkids are for!
If I had to draw a line around that fish I wouldnt be able to do it either :nono: Photoshop does that for you, you just keep giving it hints as what to include and not include as you drag the cursor around. It does a great job of finding the distinction lines all on it's own
Gotta try that one myself. Thanks for the tutorial.
You're sure getting the most outta your weeks worth of Summer up there Jim!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
