Got out this am,first set,maybe two squeals out of my mouth,pops through fence at five feet,stops at decoy twelve steps,all i had was a head shot so pics will be a little graphic ,post later.
Congratulations, but it sound like a pretty long and treacherous hunt. :biggrin: One that many of us hope would happen to us. Good luck with the reconstruction for the image.

With a 6 by 18 by 50 scope it would be hard to miss at 12 steps,but it could happen i am sure

I usually have my scope set on the lowest setting in case something like that happens to me.
That is a good idea john and one thing i always do is keep it turned down
