Dang that's a finne looking crawdad trap you got there nasty!! Should work just fine for you. We used to go along the bank of the lake & drop a hook with a small piece of worm on it in front of them & pop them out real quick when they clamped onto it. Your way is prolly quicker tho.  Have fun this weekend & Good Luck!!

Ill try and get some 20x close ups with my Canon, no promises though, its rough out in the field.... :biggrin:
