Well, I am sitting here waiting for the final out, but right now Defiance is up 8-2 in the state high school final game. Earlier today one of our seniors won the 3200 race for the state and a good friends's daughter finished second in the 800 yard run (lost by .01 second), and Dace Kime (former Defiance pitcher) was the winning pitcher for the Louisville Cardinals in their 5-3 win over Vanderbilt today. Dace won't be returning to Louisville next year as he was selected by Cleveland in the third round of the draft. Good day for Defiance.

Seven in a row is a dynasty. A couple of years can be a group of several good athletes, but for seven you need a prep program.

Congrats hometown heros :thumb2:
Yep!! That small HS has been winning softball championships for more than just 7 years. 1987-88-89-91 was when it started.
Defiance has had some very good athletes over the years as well. Congratulations to all of them. :yoyo: :yoyo:
