I was picking up some brake pads for my truck at the local parts house and seen this sitting on the counter, heard pretty good stuff about Lucas products but didnt know they made gun oil  Prolly a by-product of one of their other endeavors? for 3 bucks I figured what the hey?
Anyone used it?
Course soon as I opened it I spilled on my reloading bench :argh:

Environmentally friendly it says. :laf: How good can it be.
Never seen it before, but out of curiosity...whats the viscosity like?
Not sure what to compare it to Jimbo, its pretty thin? I wiped down my glock with it after riding my bike 12 miles or so tonight it was actually dripping wet with sweat so if it aint rusted in the morning I'm gonna call it good!
Actually I tried to wipe it off afterwards with a shop rag just to see if I could, I could still see a good film of oil afterwards?
Yeah...
Does it run across your rag pretty good, or is it too thick for that?
By the way I'm glad you mentioned that. I've been trying to come up with something to keep my CCW from taking so much sweat. All I've come up with is...C'MON FALL!!!
Soaks up in my all purpose oil rag almost instantly...Prolly chemically combust, no telling how many different oils I've squirted on it
:laf:
I've used it before. Seems to work fine to me. But I am partial to Break Free CLP.
Breakfree is good stuff, Thats all use on my black rifles
Kinda hate to waste it on my Glocks
Because its scent free , I use it on whatever I hunt with. I've had no problems with it. Break free is the shit , but it also smells like it. Oh and if you like rust , by all means try FrogLube.
