Title: Largest coyote track
Post by: snafu on June 25, 2013, 02:30:10 PM
I ever seen. I found this coyote track last Winter. Measured 3.5" long. It is paired up with a much small coyote according to track size.

Majority of the coyote tracks I've seen vary from 2.5"-2.75", a few push 3" Or slightly beyond 3". Up until last Winter the largest track I seen was 3.25". Hopefully, some day I'll get to lay eyes on this brute.

No Jim, just a big ole coyote. As I'm sure you are aware. A few coyotes grow beyond the norm. When I was 16 or 17? I shot one that weighed 47 lbs. Large burly female. Largest female I killed to date.
