Title: RE; Hotshot mishap in Arizona
Post by: FinsnFur on July 20, 2013, 01:31:57 PM
Remembering about that chains of events that claimed 19 Arizona firefighters, I thought this was pretty cool when I read it this morning;

QuoteThe ashes of Sean Misner, one of the 19 firefighters who died last week in Arizona, were being transported by his wife back to their hometown on Tuesday. She was in his truck and is pregnant with their unborn child. On every overpass for nearly 500 miles there was a tribute similar to this. Pretty damn remarkable and worthy of more media coverage than most of the other stuff that has been on tv lately. Wanted to share because our media has seemed to overlook it.

Wow.  I am moved and humbled to consider what it took for those firefighters to show such respect.

Wow!  Brings a lump to my throat.  I know I would have a hard time driving with the tears in my eyes.  God Bless him and his family.  And all those that put their lives on the line.

Our entire state is still in shock and mourning continues.  True American hero's everyone of them.  I find it rather disappointing that oboma has spoken more about the thug in Florida than he has these hero's.

A fitting tribute to a great man who gave his life protecting others.

In my humble opinion I believe that is because he realizes these are NOT the kind of people that vote democrat for the most part. Hence the attention to the squeaky wheel.

Thanks for putting this up.  It is disheartening that the media doesn't feel this is worth their airtime.
