Title: Some"Cabin hangers"...

Years back I made a bunch of scroll sawn baskets.  Well, in the process I generated a lot of left over cut outs.  I hated to throw them away, so I hung onto them, figuring that I would come up with a use for them?  Fast forward a decade or so..  Well, I found a use!  I use them for honing my feeble painting skills. I figure they'll eventually end up hanging on a wall of a cabin somewhere?

The wife did claim the Monarch butterflies, which surprised me?  LOL!

Thanks for looking!

Nicely done Dave...and my wife yells at me for hanging on to stuff. Someday I will find a use for some of the odds and ends laying around, I know I will. Until then I'll continue to relocate it "out of the way". Nice paintings man!

Nice work Dave.  I have 'scrap' pieces that I have kept.  The difference is that you have talent and can put them to good use while I just keep waiting for something that needs a shim.

It still amazes me how perfectly detailed your work is Dave. It's like photography. :eyebrow:
