.......opened today. So my friend and I headed to the honey hole early this morning. We were set up in the blind with the decoys out by 0620. Not much action early, but eventually the hens started to show up. Then a couple of gobblers came to the field and got just a little to close. On the count of three we both fired and down they went. Turkey double on opening morning.

Educated gun owner with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Congrats to you both.
Numbers here are down that we can only hunt spring birds (S.E. PA only).
What is really great about this is that you both waited till 3 to shoot rather than one shooting on 2 causing the other shooter try a shot at a moving bird.
Congratulations and hopefully you got your brother-in-law a shot as well.
Jerry
My brother in law Paul got his first ever turkey Monday evening.
