Just trying to keep up with Dave and his groundhogs and Glen and his crows. I should get a handicap since I’m using a pellet pistol.

Good shooting Mr. JohnP. :highclap: :highclap:
Pat
You are light years ahead of me Mr. John!! You're using a pistol!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
How far are you shooting those pests at?
NNNNNNNNnnnice! :congrats:
How are you liking the 1322 so far now that you have the steel breech installed?
Way to go John! Way to hone your shootin eye. Won't be long now before you out shoot Glen and me. You got to take those targets of opportunity. Soon you'll be propping up downed birds for decoys. That is until the wife makes you pick up and dispose of your handiwork. Shoot straight, and keep us posted.
Dave
Good work John. Looks like there is fun in the city. Nice idea from HuntnCarve on the decoys, but it also sounds like he has heard from the 'voice of authority' about using them.
Jerry
Yet another bites the dust.

Glen - I shot the first one at 350 yards, strong wind blowing from the east, 25mph however I held right on and kilt him. :innocentwhistle: The others I shot at 20 to 30 yards.
Jim - Now that I'm getting more familiar with it I like it - but not as well as a long gun.
Dave - I tried the old decoy trick on the first one I killed and it didn't work. It works for me on dove but not pigeons. But I haven't given up this one is still laying out in the backyard.
Jerry - The boss said I could keep them out there as long as I wanted - I just had to quit bitching to her about living in the city.....
Squab!

Seriously??
Winds form the East? :waiting:
That might work for you.
Jerry
Incredible shooting for sure!! Our winds are mainly from the West over here in the East so I'm thinking that is why I shoot so bad. Plus some of the birds are coming in from the North & it's hard to lift the shotgun that high & get turned to fire on them. The ones from the South are easy. I just gotta watch I don't shoot my feet.
Fold the wings back on your decoys & shove their beak into the dirt. Gives a more "natural" feeding look to your decoys. :eyebrow: :eyebrow:
The decoy may help, but 'If you feed them, they will come.'
