Deer & Deer Hunting had an article about a survey on the mortality of bucks that were relieve from another buck that was dead & it basically said they don't survive. If I remember right it has to do w/ the trauma.  :shrug:

I kinda thought so too. I actually cant believe he had enough energy left to run off once he did get freed up. I mean with his head lazily dropping below the water as he began to collapse and all. I figured he was done.
